How to connect Azure Cost Management to PerfectScale by DoiT?

Connecting your Azure Cost Management is a pretty straightforward process that could be done in a few simple steps.

Step 1: Configure integration

To set up the integration, you need to provide PerfectScale with the necessary credentials to access your cost and usage data. Our team has created a comprehensive guide to help you gather all the required information and create an Azure pricing profile, so this process should only take a few minutes.

Step 2: Apply the configuration to your cluster

After creating an Azure pricing profile, you can choose and apply it to the desired cluster(s). Cost and usage data from Azure Cost Management can't be applied retroactively, meaning it will only impact actual cost following its implementation.

Step 3: Grant permissions to your application

PerfectScale requires read-only permissions in order to start pulling cost and usage data directly from Azure. By following the provided instructions, you can quickly grant the necessary permissions with just a few clicks.

Once the three steps are completed, voilà! — PerfectScale will start pulling the data immediately, providing you with further accurate analysis and cost insights with unmatched precision, unlocking better forecasting, budget planning, and reporting for FinOps and chargeback needs.
